FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Will your shirts shrink?
Absolutely! We pay extra for 100% heavy weight cotton shirts - they wear longer, breathe better, and are simply more comfortable. The down side is that even though our shirts are "pre-shrunk", they will generally shrink some more - somewhere between a half size and a whole size, depending on how you launder them. There are a few shirts on our site that come in a 50/50 blend and we've noted their fabric content on the detail page. If you have questions about a particular shirt, feel free to call or e-mail us.
Your site lists sizes medium through XXL. What about smalls? Or something larger than XXL?
Because our shirts are 100% cotton and will shrink, we generally start our size runs at medium and go up to XXL, but some shirts are available in small, and some go as large as XXXL. Again, if you have questions about size options in a particular shirt, feel free to call or e-mail us.
Are your shirts produced through silk screening, heat transfers, decals, etc.?
We are strong believers in silk screening. With heat transfers and decals if the time, temperature or pressure aren't correct, you end up with a shirt that won't hold up very long. Conversely, a good silk screen will last a lifetime. For that reason, more than 90% of the shirts we sell are silk screened. If you have a question about the printing process on a particular shirt, give us a call or contact us by e-mail.
Can I order a shirt in a different color?
A handful of our shirts come on assorted backgrounds, we note their color as "assorted", and you must call to see what's available. For the most part "what you see is what we've got."
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Once your order is received, we'll e-mail you and let you know if the merchandise is in stock, and when it will ship. We will also provide you with a UPS tracking number, so you can follow your package's progress. We are located at the Oregon Coast, and we generally ship by UPS Ground Service. That means one or two business days to most West Coast locations; three or four days to the mid-West; and a week or so to the East Coast. Even during the busy holiday season, we manage to process our orders quite quickly, but sometimes things get slowed down by UPS or the Postal System.
Is it possible to speed up the shipping process?
While we normally ship UPS Ground Service, when delivery time is crucial, we can switch to Priority Mail, Express Mail, or several higher speed - and higher cost - options that UPS offers. Obviously the customer is asked to pay these higher costs, but we don't "pad" the bill. What we're charged by the shipper is what we charge you. If speed is an issue, call or e-mail us when you place your order, and we'll let you know what options are available.
What about international orders?
So far we've sent merchandise to several dozen countries around the globe. We've learned that our $5 flat rate shipping fee sometimes will move an international order, but it is a VERY slow process. On international orders we check with the local post office & e-mail the customer about shipping options, and possible upgrades.
How can you afford your "one item or a hundred - it's only $5 shipping & handling" policy?
We are a small company working hard to build our mail order and internet business. We may lose a dollar or two on shipping, but our hope is that repeat customers will tell their friends about us, and the volume of sales will keep us profitable. If we're wrong about that, we'll have to move to a "the more you order, the more you pay" policy like the major players.
Until that happens, order lots, make us happy, and enjoy a great deal!
